Céline Andreassen
Céline Andreassen is a photographer and art director, a graduate of École Estienne and École Duperré. She lives and works in Paris. After ten years of still life photography and material exploration with the duo Antinomia, she is now developing a visual language in which the image becomes a space of perception and sensation. She creates atmospheric journeys.
A singular mood takes shape: fabrics gleam in the half-light, the transparency of glass defies the opacity of the setting, and perfume bottles radiate in the light. Faces and hair shimmer as gazes elude us. Between heightened sensory awareness and colours that spill over, the contours of the image dissolve, allowing the unconscious dimensions of seeing to emerge. As if something might appear, if one stays a little longer.
