Roberto Greco

Biography

Roberto Greco (IT/CH) graduated in Visual Communications, Photography Department at the Cantonal School of Art and Design Lausanne (ECAL) in 2010 after a CFC as a photographer at the Academy of Applied Arts Vevey (CEPV) in 2007. He has presented his work in several group exhibitions in Switzerland and in France. He exhibits his new work « After Still Life » in January 2012 as part of Photo Schweiz, Zurich, In Rennes for Lil dOodaaq, in Paris for Les Nuits Photographiques and at the Jungkunst, Winterthur. In 2013, he present his work in a solo show at SOON gallery in Bern. In Venice for the Arte Laguna prize, (where he won the gallery’s price) at Art333, zurich and at the Swiss Photo Awards, zurich (collective show). He also had a show at the Photoforum Pasaquart in Bien, L’Atelier des Vertus in Paris. In 2014 he presents his new work « Flowers » at the B.A.C in Geneva, and at the TART Gallery in Zürich. He has a solo show at the SOON Gallery in Zürich and he’s preparing several exhibitions for the end of the year. His photographs were bought by differents collectioners like the Art Swiss Post, 2013, The Commission of Art of Winterthur 2013, The Alimentarium of Vevey, 2013. He was awarded of the first prize of HZC – Helena Zanelli Created in 2009, and had a honnorable mention from Ipa Awards 201 (Los Angeles). He has been published repeatedly in magazines including Colors, Novembre, Ojodepez, Selfpublished, Raise, Haute Food, Popular photography magazine. He lives between Paris and Geneva.
